EMWARE s.r.o. (hereinafter "Controller") processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection.
Depending on the purpose of processing, we may process the following categories of personal data:
We do not process special categories of personal data (so-called sensitive data) within the meaning of Art. 9 GDPR.
Purpose: Responding to your enquiry, offering products and services, pre-contractual relations.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – processing necessary for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
Retention period: 3 years from the last contact, unless a contract is concluded.
Purpose: Execution of the business relationship, invoicing, delivery of products and services.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract.
Retention period: for the duration of the contractual relationship and 10 years after its termination (accounting and tax obligations).
Purpose: Compliance with obligations arising from accounting, tax and other legal regulations.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR – legal obligation.
Retention period: in accordance with applicable legislation (generally 10 years).
Purpose: Protection of assets, IT system security, fraud prevention.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest of the Controller.

The Controller has implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised employees who are bound by confidentiality obligations.
